To my mom Gerda,
Michael was my best friend and companion for 37 years. I remember the night I meet Michael, that night I told my dad all about him. Michael smoked when I meet him but my dad told me “He sounds like he’s a keeper”. That I could overlook the one thing. I went with that! I was just never happier. He was a super great husband and father. Thank you. I’m so sorry for your loss. All my love Julia

Dearest Julia and family, as you work through this unimaginable loss please know that Roxy and I are with you. In spirit, in thought, support, and prayer, we surround you with love. We enjoyed all the picnics, barbeques, rides, talks, and joyous time we were blessed to share. Mike was unique, he was gentle but strong-willed, kind but blunt, and an honor and blessing to know. His loss is a true void. God bless you and keep you.

I have fond memories of Mike. He and his wife Julia were the first residents we met upon moving to Rainbow Valley in the 90’s. They were great neighbors to my late husband and I. Mike in later years cleared snow for us out of goodness of his heart never accepting anything but a Thank you. Mike had a warm contagious smile he wore often. It was fun to be around him with his playful personality. Mike will be missed, he was a positive concerned resident of our mountain community. Julia, Gerda and Melissa you have me deepest sympathy.

To our daughter Melissa,
Thank you so much for being our daughter. I want you to know just how much you meant to your daddy. You were always his little girl, his little princess and always will be. Daddy would be proud and happy that you are going to complete his "bucket list" of run's and rally's. just have fun and be safe. That is one thing he truly enjoyed. Enjoy your Daddy's trike! Love always, your mom.

The loss of friends and loved ones will always be the most difficult thing God will cause us to endure. But knowing they're waiting for us in a place that's far better than anything we can imagine helps us to to bear it. God Bless You Mike. From this Earth to the arms of Jesus. Until we meet again on the streets of his Glory.
