In memory of Marianne Jo Krupp (Bakke), beloved wife, mother, grandmother, and friend who passed away suddenly at home in Divide, CO on the evening of June 19th 2018. Marianne was a loving, outgoing, mischievous woman with a huge heart, an infectious laugh, and a keen sense of fun who was loved deeply, is greatly missed, and will always be cherished. Our Mom, Marianne, or “Mema”, as she loved to be called by her grandchildren, was a dedicated and passionate woman who poured her heart and soul into her family.

Marianne was born in 1964 in Arlington Heights, IL to Howard and Beverly Bakke and married her high school sweetheart David Krupp on November 13, 1982. Marianne supported her husband and family through a sometimes exhausting, and always demanding 22 year military career, but always with laughter, love and determination building a loving home in each new location until the family finally settled in Woodland Park, CO in 1996, moving into nearby Divide in 2016. Marianne loved the lakes, the beach, and the mountains and she enjoyed spending time with her family. Marianne treasured her friendships and family, and she was never happier than when she was out having fun and creating memories with her grandchildren.

Marianne was preceded in death by her father Howard, mother Beverly, and father in law Vern. Marianne is missed by her husband David; her son Paul; her daughter Jessica and her son in law Reid; her grandchildren Kevin, Thomas, Lucas, Elaina and RJ; her sister Cheryl and her brothers Howard and Tom and her very many close friends near and far.

The family request that you refrain from sending flowers; however, in lieu of flowers a donation could be made to the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation. A celebration of Marianne’s life will be held at 1:00pm on Monday 25th June 2018 at the Ute Inn, 204 W Midland Ave, Woodland Park, CO, 80863. Friends are welcome to attend.

Marianne was so joyful and celebratory of life. I loved that about her. Life was a party. I am heartbroken for everyone who loves her and that she left us all so early. She was inspirational and she will be greatly missed. I will miss her exuberance, her lust for life and her infectious spirit and mischievous laugh. She loved her family and friends so much and it showed. What a beautiful legacy she has left. Wishing everyone peace, comfort and love in the coming days. Much, much love...
