Music by The Piano Brothers

Theresa (Teeter) Jane Ratcliff, aged 65, passed away peacefully in her sleep Saturday, April 28, 2018. She was a loving and devoted mother, grandmother, sister, partner, and friend.

Theresa was born on October 3, 1952 in Fort Worth, Texas to George R. Grimm and Jane R. Grimm. She attended Ursuline Academy in Paola, Kansas and graduated in 1971. She was married October 15, 1976 to William Ratcliff in Omaha, Nebraska; they had two children. Theresa worked in many niches but held a particular fondness for retail. She enjoyed crocheting and many of her creations were given as gifts to family and friends. Theresa was fond of Sci-Fi and was overall an avid mystery seeker. She was a devout Catholic and a strong defender of her faith.

Theresa had many joys and highlights in her life, but one of the brightest was the birth of her grandchild. Theresa spent this past Christmas with her daughter and daughter-in-law and with them, welcomed Anthony Ratcliff to the world.

Theresa is survived by her long term partner, Bob Taylor; daughter, Malinda Ratcliff and her spouse Heather Ratcliff; grandchild, Anthony David Ratcliff; son, Matthew Ratcliff; siblings, Barbara Sargent, Richard Grimm, Philip Grimm, Larry Grimm, Susan Bruns, Mary Kisby, and Scott Grimm; and many cousins, nieces, and nephews.

Theresa is preceded in death by her spouse, William Ratcliff (Div.); parents, and siblings George Grimm and Christopher Grimm.

A funeral service will be held on Friday, May 4, 2018 at 10:00 AM at Our Lady of the Woods Catholic Church in Woodland Park, Colorado. Visitation is available on the same day at 9:30 AM at the church. As Theresa would say, “Live long and prosper!”
