Randall "Randy" Maynard Amerine

Randy passed away after battling cancer for 2 years. He lived in Ramah, CO.
He was born in Kingman, KS, youngest of four children. The family moved to Limon, CO in 1959 where he spent his youth and graduated from Limon High School in 1969. In football, Randy was named All State in 1968, played in Coaches' Association All State North/South Game. In 1969 was given the Sunkist High School Award, and was named to the All American Team. In basketball he was named 1968 All League and 1969 All ECCAA. Randy retired from a career in roofing in 1997.
Preceding him in death are his parents Kenneth and Winona (Geist) Amerine. Family survivors include: his wife Susan, a step-son, a step-daughter, and a step-granddaughter. Siblings: Darlene (Ned) Foster, Colorado Springs, CO, Terry (Candy) Amerine, Woodland Park, CO, and Brenda (Tom) Sanchez, Austin, TX, and a multitude of nieces, nephews, and cousins. Randy also leaves behind many friends.
